Hurricane Irma - Humanitrian Flights (A Message From ExpressJet Management)

Friday, September 8, 2017

All,

In advance of Hurricane Irma, ExpressJet will operate two humanitarian flights on Friday, September 8thin an effort to help evacuate any employee and family members that wish to relocate out of Florida and away from the brunt of the impact.

ExpressJet 5644 will depart Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) from the Sheltair FBO at 1200 local and land at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) at 1340 local for a brief stop. The flight will depart Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from the Sheltair FBO as ExpressJet 5645 at 1420 local and land in ATL around 1540 local. All passengers will be offloaded at the ExpressJet Atech hangar.

Parking at the FLL Sheltair location is extremely limited, so you may want to make alternate parking plans and take a Taxi, Uber or Lyft to the FBO. Remember, the flight will leave at 1200 local so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to find parking and get to the aircraft. Also, please limit the baggage that you carry with you – we want to take as many people as the aircraft can seat.

Upon arrival at Atech in ATL, ExpressJet will provide a shuttle to the airport rental car center if you have additional transportation needs. As of now, there are plenty of vehicles available. Also, please note that hotels in the Atlanta area are sold out, so you may want to look at alternate locations for lodging.

If you wish to be included on this flight, please send a MyMessage to Sharon Armstrong or an email toSharon.Armstrong@expressjet.com with your name and employee number. If a family member will be riding, please indicate their relation to you (spouse, child, etc.). I need to know as soon as possible, preferably by midnight tonight.

Stay Safe,

Sharon Armstrong
Director of Inflight Operations
