Business Meeting Review

Brothers and sisters,

Our monthly business meeting took place on June 14th at the Embassy Suites. Here is your recap.

The meeting began with a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attack in Orlando. President Carli Meneses reminded everyone that this will serve as out last meeting before summer break. Also, she thanked everyone that participated in this years AIDS Walk. We ranked in the top 100 teams and raised over $5,000. Negotiations took place this week and we will be getting an update from the District. The grievance report was given and discussed report late to aircrafts, 4 grievances which have gone to step 2 and Jen Fisher stepping down as base manager and returning to the line. At this time, there has not been a replacement announced. The District Lodge elections took place on 6/10 and the results will be announced on or around 6/23. Seven bylaw proposals were read and voted on. Five bylaw proposals passed and are being sent to the Grand Lodge for approval. The hotel committee reported on the hotel in STL as well as the IAH hotel for new hire training. All agenda items passed.

Our next business meeting will be September 13 at the Embassy Suites.
