President's Message

Members,

With the summer approaching, please keep in mind that the uniform requirements are changing. Beginning June 1, outer garments are optional, boots are not permitted, wings are to be worn on the outermost garment, scarves and ties are still required unless doing AE or Delta Connection flying (scarves only). Please refer to Inflight bulletin 4-16-15 for further information.

I would like to thank all the members who walked, both virtually and in person, and donated to this years AIDS Walk Human Rights Chairperson, David Rice, for getting the event organized, and also to our top fundraiser, Manny Rivero, who raised over $1,000! I look forward to us doing this again next year.

June will be our last meeting before we break for the summer and all members are encouraged to show up and see in what way you can get involved. We have several committees that we would love to start up again. This is your chance to step up and make the differences you want to see in our local.

Our negotiations team meets up next month in ATL and will continue to work towards one joint contract. Any questions on negotiations can be directed to our negotiations team member, Manny Rivero, at iammannyrivero@gmail.com
